Booking and Cancellation Policy

I. Car Rental Booking Terms

 A. Booking Process

The booking process for airport transfers or car rentals is quick and easy.  You can either make a reservation online through our website, https://augustinetransfers.com/, or by emailing or calling us.

To reserve a car, you will need to provide your personal information, including your name and contact details. You will also need to specify the date and time you wish our driver to pick you up and drop you off, as well as the type of car you prefer. Once the reservation is confirmed, you will receive a booking confirmation via email with the name of the driver who will arrange your transfer. 

 1. Providing personal information and contact details

Please include any special information you want to share on your booking page for a smooth and comfortable transfer experience. This could include any specific preferences or requirements, such as destinations or additional stops along the way. Rest assured that all personal information provided will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of your booking.  2. Confirming the reservation and receiving a booking confirmation

After the booking is paid, you will receive a greeting from our customer service team confirming your reservation and providing the driver’s contact number.

B. Payment and Fees

 1. Payment methods accepted (e.g., credit card, cash)

We accept payment with all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. If you cannot use your credit card for any reason, we also accept PayPal and bank transfers for your convenience. 

 2. Reservation deposit or pre-payment requirement

Unless agreed upon, all booked transfers are prepaid before the scheduled service date.

 3. Explanation of additional fees (e.g., fuel, driver allowances)

The car rental prices include fuel and driver fees, so you don’t have to worry about hidden costs. 

C. Rental Duration and Pick-Up/Drop-Off

 1. Minimum and maximum rental period

There is no minimum duration for our car rentals. You can rent a car for as little as a day or as long as several months. However, please note that a longer rental period may be subject to discounted rates. If you plan to use our services for more than 10 days, get in touch with us for a personalized quote.

 2. Location for picking up and dropping off

We recommend giving us an outline of your itinerary so that we can suggest the most convenient pick-up and drop-off locations for you. If necessary, we can help you design one. 

II. Car Rental Cancellation Terms

 A. Cancellation Policy

BY US: We reserve the right, without prior notice, to terminate the services of any person in your party if, in our opinion or in the opinion of any other person in authority, the persons concerned behave in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, annoyance, or distress to any third party or damage to property. In this situation, the person(s) concerned will be required to leave the accommodation or other service immediately. We shall have no further responsibility towards such person(s). No refunds will be made, and we shall not pay any expenses or costs incurred because of the termination.      

BY YOU: Should you or any member of your party be forced to cancel, you must advise us or your travel agent in writing. A cancellation is not effective until we receive a copy of your written notice. To cover our estimated loss caused by the cancellation and as we may be unable to resell your services, cancellation fees will be levied per person as follows:

  • More than 14 days: 20% of the total cost
  • Cancellations of services between 8 and 14 days prior to departure will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost. 
  • Cancellations received within 7 days of departure will incur forfeiture of the entire service cost. No refunds will be provided.

Circumstances Beyond Our Control

  • Except where we say differently elsewhere in these conditions, we cannot pay any compensation, reimburse expenses, cover losses for any amount, or otherwise accept responsibility if, as a result of circumstances beyond our control, we have to change your package or single component after booking, or we, or our suppliers, cannot supply your package or single component as we, or they, had agreed, or you suffer any loss or damage of any description. 
  • When we refer to circumstances beyond our control, we mean any event that we, or the supplier in question, could not foresee or avoid, even after taking all reasonable care. Such circumstances will usually include but are not limited to, war, the threat of war, airport closures, epidemics, natural or nuclear disasters, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial disputes, bad weather (actual or threat), and changes to Foreign Office advice to advise against travel to destinations.

B. Rescheduling Policy 

If you need to reschedule your car rental, we are happy to accommodate your request at no additional charge, if it is made at least 10 days before the scheduled pick-up date. The rental services can be rescheduled to a later date not exceeding 3 months. 

However, if the rescheduling request is made within fewer than 7 days prior to the pick-up date, there will be a 30% fee charge on the rental cost associated with the change. The fee charge is applicable regardless of the reason for rescheduling.
